BAE Systems, Inc. is currently seeking a Database Administrator (DBA) and Developer to support the FBIâ?Ts initiative to improve processes associated with handling of legal instruments which are currently very manual and paper goal of the project is to streamline and automate the preparation, dissemination and processing of returned data of various legal instruments used by the FBI.
Working with a team of DBAs, the individual selected will support the maintenance of currently existing MS SQL Server and MySQL databases in both production and development environments to include replication and disaster recovery itionally, the DBA will support application developers in the design and deployment of enterprise applications to ensure that best security practices and database design are integrated into all phases of the complete software development DBA will monitor database health, initiate corrective action as necessary, provide backup recovery, maintain security and integrity controls and create/run ad hoc reports as needed.

Required Skills:
·Active Secret Security clearance (SBI/SSBI)
·Bachelor degree in a technical discipline plus six years experience
·Microsoft SQL Server 2005 & 2008 Database Administration
·MySQL Database Administration
·Experience using data modeling tools to create, deploy and maintain DB instances
·Attention to detail
·Excellent communication
Preferred Skills:
·Active Top Secret Security clearance (SBI/SSBI)
·Bachelor degree in a technical discipline plus eight years experience
·Experience ingesting normalized and non-normalized data into existing DBs
·Experience with SW development utilizing the Agile/Scrum methodology
·Experience creating and exposing data access layers for integration by other developers
·Java JEE Development experience with database interfaces
