Position Description
SRC is seeking a database administrator to support our customer in the DC metro area. This position will provide support to a 24/7 security operation center. The position hours will be primarily day time hours with an option for on-call support afterhours.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to
Design, secure, audit and maintain relational databases Taking user requirements and translating them into technical implementations on a variety of database systems Relevant scripting and automation techniques that support automated data exchange both internally and externally to the system Support some recall or on-call flexibility in hours for afterhours support
Position Requirements
Bachelors degree in computer science, or related field, and five or more years of demonstrated DBA experience Experience with MSSQL and Oracle database administration Experience writing and troubleshooting transact-SQL query and reporting techniques Ability to create databases, tables, indexing and routine maintenance for the data structure as implemented through MySQL Ability to design, build, secure, audit and maintain SQL relational databases Experience with security applications such as ArcSight, Envision, WebInspect, AppDetect and Encase is desired

An active Secret security clearance and current investigation are required.
