As a Database Marketing Analyst you will serve as a resource providing database marketing support primarily to field marketing efforts, which may include list development and brokering, analysis and reporting, and database development and maintenance.
Additional responsibilities for this role may include: * Providing support for list development, analysis and reporting for marketing campaigns * Contributing to the efforts focused on development of an integrated data strategy for optimum database marketing efforts aligned to increased response rates and overall campaign effectiveness * Development of a comprehensive database consisting of data on responders, non-responders, users and non-users at current customer accounts; * Assist in the development of a scoring and rating system for the marketing database; * Work with other marketers in SAS as well as third-party list providers, particularly in Europe, to cultivate and grow the marketing database in regions where it may be in need of development; * Providing consultation on various campaign design and implementation strategies, including research and consultation on rental or purchase of lists, data sources, etc., relevant to database marketing; Providing support for data analysis based projects such as lead nurturing, customer segmentation, attrition modeling, customer lifetime value, etc. * Contributing to the efforts of building and maintaining a comprehensive reporting and tracking strategy for campaign response; * Providing superior customer service to our internal clients and external suppliers; * Providing project leadership and management in support of marketing support requests; * Training personnel in scope and functionality of processes, systems, and solutions; * Development and administration of ,including but not limited to data management, data quality, and the customization of the application to support sales and marketing processes, Performing other duties as assigned.
Essential * Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or quantitative field. * 5 years of experience in an industry, market, technology, or business initiative, which is related to marketing or sales/customer support * SAS Programming, Dataflux, or use of relevant data cleansing tool experience Essential Equivalent * Associate's degree in the same fields with an additional 5 years of stated essential qualifications ~OR~ * High school diploma (GED) with an additional 8 years of stated essential qualifications Additional * Ability to organize and manage multiple projects * Ability to relate technical concepts to applications and user needs * Good interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills * Good negotiation, facilitation, and customer service skills * Experience in administration of CRM or lead management tool Preferences * Direct or database marketing experience in a business to business environment * Knowledge of internal SAS processes and systems * Experience working with Salesforce Additional Information
