Kelly IT Resources is currently recruiting for a Design Automation Engineer in the greater Sacramento area.
Qualifications BSCS, MSCS, BSEE or MSEE or other engineering field preferred with at least 5 years of recent DA experience. Specific experience in design flows, environments, and/or QA is preferable. Candidates should also be familiar with modular environment techniques such as automated collateral and code generation from centralized databases using Model-View-Controller (MVC) and agile programming techniques. Proficiency in a few programming languages such as Perl, Python, Ruby, Tcl, C/C++ in a UNIX/Linux environment is required and relational database experience (SQL, MySQL, SQLite) is desired. Also, experience in working with EDA data such as SPICE netlists, CAD layout, design simulations or verification, etc. is required. Responsibilities Job Description: Design Automation (DA) candidates for Process Design Kit (PDK) release automation and environment development. Primary responsibilities will focus on architecting and leading development of a robust system for managing FDK releases using Electronic Design Automation (EDA) tools/flows to ensure high-quality delivery of kit content to customers. Responsibilities will include testing all aspects of a design flow including working with models, net listing, static and parameterized layout cells, DRC, LVS, XOR, extraction, etc.
