If you are a hands-on senior software developer with experience of leading other software developers and are interested in working with a highly focused and dynamic product innovation team to create a next-generation high-performance electronic payment processing system, please read on!
What you need for this position:
- Highly self-motivated work ethics with commitment to details and quality.
- Experience with multiple of the following technology is preferred - JBoss, Spring, JMS, In-Memory Data Grid (Coherence or WXS), JPA, OSGI, customized class loader and rules engine.
- Motivated to stay current with emerging technology trends in programming techniques, software architecture and system architecture.
- Experience of developing and deploying high-availability and high-throughput transactional systems, using open source and COTS products.
- Proven experience developing large multi-tiered J2EE systems with scalability techniques.
- Experience of large software product development projects, using agile methods with strong emphasis in software testability.
- Strong full-lifecycle software development experience using OOA/OOD, UML, use-case driven software design and testing.
- Able to work in a complex environment, including global / international team experience and the ability to work across cultures and time zones.
- Bachelor's degree (Master's degree preferred) in computer science with a minimum of 3 years in lead/mentor role.
What you'll be doing:
- Produce detailed software design documentation and reference implementations, based on requirements and architecture standards.
- Support architecture decisions with proof-of-concept development.
- Provide hands-on leadership and task management to engineering teams.
- Develop reference implementations and implement software development and build environments for key software components.
- Assume code ownership of key software components and ensuring team performance and software quality.
- Work on a platform and product development project from inception to production transition, plus continuous product enhancement cycles.
- Solve hard engineering problems, completed with mature practice of documentation and team building.
