The Director / Senior Director, Global IT Business Development NA will work closely with the VP, Business Development, the SAP Global CIO and other key experts together to execute on the SAP Runs SAP roadmap and also develop new business development strategies for North America in the following areas: * Field Enablement - direct opportunity support and enablement assets * Branding / thought leadership & external communication - continue media and influencer thought leadership campaign in collaboration with Global Communications (see for more information) * Social Media - leveraging twitter and other social media channels to build influence * CIO community - cultivating a community of customer CIOs to share strategies and best practices * Event presence - brand building and lead generation at SAP Runs SAP at SAPPHIRE Now, TechEd, etc
Main responsibilities include the following: * Work together with different stakeholders across all levels and regions to proactively indentify growth and revenue opportunities * Conceive, develop, implement and roll-out internal and external SAP Runs SAP program (content & demo) assets. * Develop and continually enhance the CIO messaging and positioning framework. * Manage content creation for customer-facing, internal, and external engagements. * Field / revenue / customer focus * Messaging and positioning * Creative / critical thinking * Broad experience with in Web 2.0 topics / social media * Executive-level communication * Professional-quality presentation * Consensus building * Project Management * Excellent communication (written & verbal), facilitation, coaching, networking and listening capabilities * 10+ years in marketing, communications, sales operations or business development in the high tech industry * Strong network within SAP a plus * Hands-on attitude with strong execution and results-driven focus * Technical expertise and experience working with CIOs is a plus
