Immediate full-time need for a Director of Information Technology!Come join a leading bioinformatics company located in East Los Angeles and employing 100 scientific professionals.
In this position, you will be responsible for guiding the company's I.T. strategy, with an emphasis on will also ensure that all I.T. projects deadlines are met on time and on will have 'hands on' responsibility and manage at least one I.T. technician. Your key responsibilities will be geared towards managing projects and strategy together with IT assurance and compliance to legal and agency requirements.
Other job duties include:
Serving as the I.T. 'voice' throughout the organization as we grow and add systems, process and equipment Working with system owners on developing and implementing strategic plans for all existing and new IT systems (e.g. LIMS,) Ensuring delivery of quality services from local resources Participating in the development, modification and implementation of company practices and policies Developing and managing IT budget and resource plans Working with Corporate Management in the management of enterprise systems, the development and adherence to standards and governance, enterprise architecture and commoninfrastructure Ensuring that the company is in compliance with all Sarbanes Oxley and IT Information Security policies
Requirements include:
·Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related discipline ·10+ years' directly-related experience including 3 years' as a supervisor and 5 years in a cGLP environment ·Experience implementing an ERP system ·Current knowledge of the direction of our industry ·Forward thinking ·Anticipative rather than reactionary
