Job Description: IT Director
The Director of Engineering IT will be responsible for the development and implementation of cross-functional transformational initiatives. The role includes having overall responsibility for leading and directing program plan design and implementation of systems and process that either directly support Engineering IT or its partners.
Responsibilities

The position will lead major program initiatives with stakeholders, end users and IT to re-design, develop and implement standardized, systems and processes, and provide recommendations for approval to the senior leadership team. The ability to proactively identify and mitigate program risks, manage diverse stakeholders and resolve project issues is critical. Knowledge of change management principals will be required for this individual to be successful. Success will also be dependent on the ability to build and maintain strategic partnerships with other functional/technical and geographically dispersed teams.

Owns development of implementation plans, budgets and resources; assesses quality of efforts related to process documentation and controls testing to ensure compliance with program guidelines. Serve as a change agent at senior level across the organization, leading processes and systems transformation initiatives. Coordinate activities with other IT leaders to identify and manage project interdependencies.

Required Capabilities

. Requires at least 15 years of progressive leadership experience in business process design/redesign and standardization, transformation initiatives and systems implementations. Experience in management, team leadership, change management and conflict resolution
. Bachelors degree in engineering, supply chain, information technology or related field or comparable experience.
. Significant cross-functional experience driving major change initiatives in a large, complex, collaborative environment. Proven ability to lead and oversee large, complex process and system re-design initiatives with multiple stakeholders
. Lead professionals and manage others through influence and cooperation; building effective teams and resolve conflicts
. Communicate persuasively and effectively to executive leadership team, and a wide range of internal and external customers
. Ability to manage and function well within a complex reporting relationship, and satisfy deliverables to a wide range of internal customers

Principle responsibility is to lead application development the Engineering IT function. This individual will be instrumental in managing the relationship and interaction with the "Technology and Engineering" function with regard to IT solution design and delivery. This role will be responsible for developing new processes and technologies, as well as communication readout in order to become the key partner to the engineering function.

Responsibilities
. Acts as liaison between the business, IT and the Engineering transformation teams.
. Manages the design and development of integrated systems & solutions including workflow, forms, reports, interfaces, conversions and enhancements.
. Assumes the lead role in determining project approach, decision on operating procedure, analytical approaches, and work flow. She/He also provides significant support in creating data strategy, complex analysis, user training, design reviews, and executive briefings.
. Participate in the development of the process and system changes necessary to enhance Supply Chain performance.
. Work with little supervision keeping leadership appraised of project status in a timely manner raising issues of risk to the appropriate level at the appropriate time.
. Demonstrate expert core consulting skills.
. Demonstrate an advanced level of SAP solution knowledge and semiconductor industry expertise to support delivery
. Performs business process improvement and data analysis when required and works in close partnership with the IT teams in delivering technology changes and application integration.
