Director of IT
Kforce is looking for an IT Director to fulfill a need at a local client's office. This position requires an ability to re-think and re-design core processes; optimize existing and future technology investments, and determine ways to achieve those desired end-state objectives.
The core responsibilities of this position are: * Examine and understand processes from the business perspective and participate in designing, recommending, and implementing solutions that utilize the appropriate technologies * Design, develop, and recommend solutions to support business processes * Construct staffing plans based on workload, project mix, and projected needs * Apply business concepts such as Key Process Indicators, service level agreements, metrics, and reporting to solutions * Lead and direct teams of Business Analysts that review and edit requirements, specifications, business processes, and recommendations related to proposed solutions * Design and oversee the unit planning, portfolio, and prioritization processes which include such critical elements as the multi-year planning, operating planning, scenario planning, decision frameworks, and cost modeling * Engage in and manage specific strategic initiatives including a wide variety of items, ranging from traditional business plan and business case development to specific tactical support for business units * Perform key strategic initiative implementation planning including the development of appropriate implementation plans and approaches
