Flexera Software is seeking a Director of North America services to run a thriving entitlement and compliance management services practice. This individual will drive over one third of Flexera’s annual global consulting revenue and will be a key member of the services leadership team servicing a “Who’s Who” of the Software 500.
Ideally located in the Bay Area or greater Chicago area, this individual will be responsible for leading a highly talented group of project managers and consultants to consistently exceed quarterly revenue and margin targets. This individual will have a strong services and sales focus, partnering with the North America sales team to maximize client value for both software and services.

Flexera’s key brands include InstallShield and FLEXNet for licensing and entitlement management.
Responsibilities/Qualifications:
Responsible for meeting North America ECM Services revenue and profitability targets. Collaborate extensively with Sales to position and sell Services as part of the license sale process. Also drive Services sales independently from license sales. Monitor Services delivery to ensure work is delivered in a high-quality, repeatable and profitable way.
Manage North America ECM Professional Services team of 12 consultants and project managers to ensure successful product implementations in customer environments.
Establish strong working relationships with North America business partners (Finance, Legal, Product Management, Sales) to ensure timely delivery of customer engagements.
Create strong customer-servicing ethos.
Develop strong relationships with larger clients, maintain executive level relationship throughout the implementation and identify license and Services up-sell opportunities.
Education and Experience:
BA or BS degree required. MBA or graduate degree preferred. Education would ideally be a combination of technical and business qualifications.
More than 10 years delivering application solutions to the enterprise, including a minimum of 5 years within the software and/or license management industry.
Has minimum of 5 years experience managing a Professional Services practice, including full responsibility for revenue attainment and profitability management.
Detailed understanding of software development and sales required.
Detailed understanding of technical support and account management for enterprise customers required.
Previous experience at a global consulting organization a plus (Accenture, Deloitte, etc.).
Previous experience at a top 100 software company preferred.
Skills and Knowledge :
Previous revenue attainment and P&L management required.
Experience working in flexible, open-ended environments with rapidly changing goals and challenges.
Excellent people management and development skills.
Strong customer facing and relationship management skills with appropriate negotiation and influencing skills.
Experience interacting with senior management teams.
Enthusiasm to travel and work in our target markets and geographies on challenging client engagements. The ability and willingness to travel extensively (75%) within the United States.
Excellent verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal communication skills.
Flexibility to deliver within a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.
