This position is responsible for supporting all areas of Sypris business acquisition processes including growth initiatives, opportunity creations, qualifications and pursuits, market and customer assessments, budget analyses and merger and acquisition analyses. The incumbent is also responsible for gathering business intelligence and competitor analysis data. Essential Functions
* 1. Partners with the IR&D and Swim Lane Leads to identify business opportunities, develop capture strategies, and define market initiatives in efforts to develop and secure new business. 2. Manages marketing activities and orders for internal DoD base, DoD laboratory customer set, and external government (prime) contractors. 3. Develops and manages orders forecast for the Cyber product Line. Orders forecast inputs will be assessed and judged to provide high-level management with Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and SGP forecast recommendations. 4. Participates in overall product marketing strategies and business planning in support of Sypris initiatives and strategic corporate business pursuits. 5. Leads and supports DoD and Information Assurance planning for applicable trade shows. 6. Administers all Human Resources programs and policies (including selection, promotion, transfers, salary administration and termination) without regard to race, religion, sex, national origin, age or handicap). Job Requirements :
* BA/BS degree in a technical discipline * MBA preferred * Minimum 10 years of experience in high technology communications and information systems * Current experience in DoD Cyber and Information Assurance community, DoD acquisition process and system development * Current and extensive contact list of DoD and Information Assurance community contacts including key decision makers and influencers * Excellent knowledge of network systems and government program business, major prime contractors and current events concerning all of these activities preferred * Working knowledge of network systems/missions * Work experience within technology development, acquisition and/or program management * Strong communications, analytical and team leadership skills * Ability to obtain a U.S. Government Top Secret security clearance * Travel required · Inter, intra departmental and external contact requiredSypris Electronics, LLC provides goods and services to the U.S. Government and other prime contractors and is obligated by its contracts with those entities, as well as by various federal laws and regulations regarding security and export control, to restrict access to certain goods, services, and/or any related information.
