Minimum Requirements:
* Technical degree or certification in AutoCAD and/or Micro station preferred * Three years experience as CAD operator in engineering or architectural field preferred * Experience with floor plan development preferred * Experience creating attribute blocks preferred * Advanced level with AutoCAD and AutoCAD Map preferred * Intermediate level with MS Office * Knowledge of geospatial data and CAD standards including A/E/C standards preferred * Experience with ESRI Arc GIS software preferred * Preferred experience converting CAD drawings to GIS shape files. * Advanced analytical and problem solving skills * Professional written and verbal communication skills * Solid customer service skills and/or strong interpersonal skills Duties and Responsibilities:
* Analyze existing CAD data from facility survey measurements and drawing data. * Create new CAD data from facility survey measurements and drawing data. * Convert data into standards compliant CAD and/or GIS format. * Perform quality assurance on CAD floor plans data according to A/E/C CAD Standards and to ensure correct topology. * Provide data production, customer support and technical support to clients and client’s staff. * Domestic travel as required. * Other duties as required.
