Overview:
A high-level contributor that acts independently with minimal direction. Works with a variety of IFS, divisional, and vendor resources to plan and execute systems infrastructure implementation projects. The ability to form strong relationships and communicate with a breadth and variety of internal and external resources is critical. Must exhibit leadership skills and be able to indirectly manage resources from the Field Services organization to execute project tasks. This role will have responsibility in leading single- and multi-site projects, and positive results must be achieved through strong and consistent communications with multiple levels of MST and divisional associates and vendors. The candidate will have fiscal responsibility in writing, submitting, and awarding cabling statements of work, and will subsequently manage vendor resources to keep them in line with project budget guidelines. The candidate must be a team player, and must have flexibility to work on a variety of implementation efforts concurrently.

Key Accountabilities:
Under minimal direction, identifies, implements and solutions infrastructure projects delivered to support Macy's Inc. Ecommerce efforts.
Acts as a technical project lead for implementing web based systems, primarily on Websphere.
Coordinates with internal UNIX, DBA, Project Management and Networking resources.
Guides change control and project deliverables.
Provides hands on assistance with support for those project teams implementing critical E-Commerce systems in support of Macys strategic initiatives.
Mentors other team members on technology and processes.
Skills Summary:
5 years of experience with Websphere Application Server, WebLogic, JBoss OR J2EE
5 years of experience with UNIX/LINUX OS System
Infrastructure and Application design experience
Website topology (eCommerce Retail Site)
Virtualization (VMWare)
Network, Load Balancer and Firewall understanding
