Overview:
Under minimal direction, identifies, implements and supports new technologies while leveraging the existing infrastructure to provide 24x7 operational support that enable MST business units to maintain web based information management systems. Provides hands on assistance with support for those project teams implementing critical E-Commerce systems in support of Macys strategic initiatives. Mentors other team members on technology and processes. This position is part of a team that is staffed 24x7, 365 days a year to provide operational support for Macy's Ecommerce systems.

Key Accountabilities:
Under minimal direction, identifies, implements and supports infrastructure projects delivered to support Macy's Inc. eCommerce efforts.
Acts as a technical project lead for implementing web based systems, primarily on Websphere.
Coordinates with internal UNIX, DBA, Project Management and Networking resources.
Guides change control and project deliverables.
Skills Summary:
Excellent written and Oracle communication skills
5 years of experience working with Websphere Application Server 5.0, 6.1, 7.0 OR WebLogic, J2EE or JBoss
5 years of hands-on experience with UNIX/LINUX
5 years of experience with infrastructure and application integration
Solid understanding of networking, at least 5 years of experience
