EDI Manager, Federal Healthcare Consulting
We are seeking individuals with healthcare process and information technology background and experience with Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) as it relates to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA) Transaction and Code Set provisions. As a Manager in the Washington Federal Practice, you will provide advisory services focused on federal healthcare IT and EDI services including, HIPAA regulations impact analysis and implementation strategy, implementation guide (TR3) interpretation, transaction mapping, requirements analysis and business process analysis. Assignments will also include assisting clients with implementation of American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA)/Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health (HITECH) and Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA or Healthcare Reform) requirements. You must be able to clearly communicate verbally and in writing. We require self-motivated individuals that are willing to develop solutions and participate in a team environment to deliver engagements on time and within budget.
Job Requirements: 5-10+ years of progressive applications/information systems development and consulting experience with a focus in healthcare information technology; Experience in healthcare administration (provider or health plan revenue cycle management, claims management and/or financial management) information technology, HIPAA EDI and business process or requirements analysis and/or project management; Excellent interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to work effectively in diverse teams; Ability to clearly communicate verbally and in writing; Considerable experience as a team leader: supervising teams to create an atmosphere of trust; seeking diverse views to encourage improvement and innovation; and coaching staff including providing timely meaningful written and verbal feedback; Considerable experience identifying and addressing client needs: building, maintaining, and utilizing networks of client relationships and community involvement; communicating value propositions; managing resource requirements, project workflow, budgets, billing and collections; and preparing and/or coordinating complex written and verbal materials; Thorough experience with project management, with federal consulting or federal project management experience preferred; We require self-motivated individuals that are willing to develop solutions and participate in a team environment to deliver engagements on time and within budget.
