Title: Elect Tech, Maintenance III (L) Location: SC-Hanahan This is part time, temporary, on-call position with no benefits associated with it.
100% travel is required.
The Electronics Technician Maintenance III applies advanced technical knowledge to solve complex problems that typically cannot be solved solely by referencing manufacturers' manuals or similar documents. Examples of such problems include communications, sensor, conduiit routing and other issues. Work typically requires an understanding of the interrelationships of system components, exercising independent judgment in performing such tasks as system wiring/conduit routing, system setup and calibration. Work may be reviewed by supervisor for general compliance with accepted practices. This position may provide technical guidance to lower level technicians. Basic Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent. Must have current Veeder-Root 2/3 or 4 qualification and 6 years of experience in field installation and calibaration of Veeder-Root and similar fuel inventory systems and components. Other fuel inventory management and dispensing system experience desired, especially maintenance of fuel systems. Work locations will be at DoD fuel installations across the United States including Alaska and Hawaii. Some international travel may be required.
