Independently performs a wide variety of conventional and moderately-complex architectural assignments by applying architectural design standards, practices, and techniques. The incumbent at this level regularly exercises discretion and independent judgment in developing original designs, is proficient in the utilization of standard architectural techniques, and is thoroughly familiar with company procedures.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Performs complex engineering tasks and engineering work efficiently and accurately.
- Must have strong communication skills both orally and in writing with internal staff, clients, and other consultants/disciplines.
- Reviews Architectural/Engineering plans and specifications. Ensures compliance with applicable codes, standards, regulations, and client requirements.
- Prepares project cost estimates.
- Familiarity and experience with sustainability and commissioning process.
- Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
Qualifications: PREFERRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent) is required with 5 years of relevant experience. Possesses knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the electrical engineering field
SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:
Familiarity with CAD and PC software packages typically associated with engineering is desired.
