Electro Mechanical Technician
Maintain electrical and mechanical systems on all automation equipment. Administer and maintain preventive maintenance program. Capable of working any day or shift. Assist the supervisor and manager in accomplishing departmental and company goals. Essential duties and responsibilities: * Maintain a safe work environment* Report potential safety concerns* Clean work areas and the maintenance shop* Install safety fixtures as required* Maintain and troubleshoot Allen Bradley PLCS* Installation and implementation of 3PH, 48OV, 277V, 24OV, 12V, and transformers for equipment and the building* Knowledge of AC/DC current, line voltage, and low voltage* Understand operations and function of electrical components such as relays, contactors, starters, fuses, capacitors, and solenoids* Troubleshoot analyze, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on all distribution center equipment* Perform routine carpentry, plumbing, welding, and electrical jobs as assigned* Monitor report and document the usage and replacement of spare parts* Apply standard, safe electrical practices using proven methods, and NEC Code* Operates metalworking machines, such as bench lathe, milling machine, punch press, and drill press to fabricate housings, fittings, jigs, and fixtures, and verifies dimensions* Assembles wires, insulation, and electrical components, such as; resistors and capacitors, and following method layouts* Installs; electrical assemblies, and hardware in housing* Tests assembled instruments for circuit continuity and operational reliability* Analyzes test results and repairs or adjusts instruments according to analysis* Records test results and writes report on fabrication techniques used* Calibrates instruments according to specifications* Team player able to work safely with co-workers* Responsibilities include training employees; laterally and entry level* Other duties as assignedThe successful applicant will possess the following requirements (items are required unless noted otherwise): * High school diploma or general education degree (GED)* 5+ years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience* Must have experience working in an automated machinery environment* Must have electrical and mechanical experience related to above duties* Valid Driver's License
