Electronic Warfare Tech

Performs systems maintenance and operations. Applies technical knowledge to perform simple or routine tasks following detailed instructions.
Performs such tasks as replacing components and wiring circuits; repairing simple electronic equipment; and taking test readings using common instruments such as digital multimeters, signal generators, semiconductor testers, curve tracers, and oscilloscopes. Operates system under supervision. Receives technical guidance, as required, from supervisor or higher-level technician. Work is checked for accuracy. Performs organization and intermediate-level repair when supervised. Performs corrosion control on equipment/towers. Documents maintenance actions in IEMS.
Must be qualified to operate the EW system currently assigned to, and be maintenance qualified on one EW system within 1 year.
Understands and observes all safety practices.
Follows all applicable CTTR Plans, Range Operating Instructions (ROI's) and Standard Operating Procedures.
Ensures Work site cleanliness.


Basic Qualifications:
• Formal classroom education equivalent to Navy ""C"" School or vocational school with formal training in the field of electronic equipment maintenance and equipment manufacturer training
• Possess a valid state Driver's License.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Ability to speak, read, and write English
