Position Summary:
The Role: The ideal candidate for this position will have a documented history of successfully working within a team environment to support a global corporate telephony system. The person filling this role will be responsible for working with the team on both day to day support and long term infrastructure strategy. Candidates must be able to articulate complex ideas both in writing and verbally to technical and non-technical audiences.
Required Skills & Experience: - CCIE Voice level skills (certification not required). - 5+ years experience in a lead technical role - Proven experience with designing solutions that meet industry best practice standards within complex communication environments - Capability of installing, configuring, administering, upgrading, and troubleshooting a Cisco Call Manager cluster - Proficiency with VoIP protocols and audio codecs - Demonstrable ability to install, configure, and troubleshoot Cisco IOS-based voice gateways - Voice traffic engineering expertise - In-depth knowledge of network technologies at all layers of the OSI reference model - Expert ability in creating and reading network trace packet captures - Expert ability in creating standardized network infrastructure documentation
This position can be located in Farnborough, Cork, Amersfoort, Munich, or Stuttgart.
