We are currently seeking anEngineering Cost Analyst, this is a full-time position that is responsible for but not limited to the following duties: * Download general ledger postings from SAP into Excel or a database program * Sort, sequence and total periodic spend based on projects and cost centers * Download Open Purchase Orders from SAP * Reconcile Purchase Orders to Spend and report on committed spend by project each month * Download Open Purchase Requisitions from SAP * Report on PRs in process at the end of each month * Analyze and report on current month spend and open commitments (expected spend) for future months * Track travel spend separately by person and by project each month * Using general ledger postings from Concur * Using Concur reports, paid and submitted/in process * Reconcile travel to general ledger postings Required Experience:
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: * A Bachelors degree in Business, Accounting or the equivalent, is required. * 0-3 years of accounting analyst skills * Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook * Good communication and documentation skills * Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. * Strong process orientation and good organizational skills with attention to detail * Very self motivated and energetic * Willing and able to support a dynamic and strategic global engineering program with sites in China, India, Philippines, and the United States * Able to travel to the above countries, as needed
Preferred Qualifications: * Previous experience in project coordination * Experience in SAP * Ability to learn to use web-based applications, such as Concur Travel and Expense reporting * Familiar with a variety of the Project Management concepts, practices, and procedures * Experience with MS Project and SharePoint * Experience in working with multi-site development projects and, ideally, working with multi-national development organizations.
