Engineering Technical Support Tech 2
This is an entry to mid level technical position in support of national security programs producing various Digital Elevation datasets. Must have experience using a stereoscope and meeting national mapping accuracy standards. The successful candidate will work in a team environment that meets daily production priorities and goals. Daily tasking will be supervised and semi supervised. Applicant must have at least an intermediate experience level with geospatial products and software packages (such as ESRI ARC 9.x, BAE Socet Set/ GXP). Successful candidate will compile, analyze, and participate in Terrain production services for one or more of the following product types: HRTE3, HRTE3R, HRTE4, HRE spec and similar geospatial products. Additional duties will include maintenance of documentation by using company/industry standards to which communicate the status and end product to internal/external customers. Receives and formats data to provided documentation that assists internal customers in the development of engineering life cycle products, services and processes. Assists with data collection and development of engineering data. Uses standard guidelines to verify products meet regulatory conformance and contractual compliance. Maintains products, processes and services to ensure consistent quality. Assists with the verification of products and documents results and ensures defects are identified for resolution. Maintains design documentation by using company/industry standards. Assists with the collection of customer requirements and assists with inputs to in the web pages. Works under supervision.

Typical Education/Experience
AA degree in related discipline and typically 1 or more years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
