Manufacture Hose assemblies supporting the troubleshooting, repair and testing of various types of Towed Array modules. Main Responsibility will be to build Hose Assemblies for the SQR19,TB16,TB29Asub, 29TL, MFTA modules and the secondary responsibility will be to repair and test SQR19,TB16,TB29Asub, 29TL, MFTA modules & various Tow Cables and all other ancillary equipment as necessary to support depot and fleet operations. Perform necessary module mechanical repairs in addition to electronic testing. Be an integral team member working with and taking direction from senior technicians and supervisors in order to assist with the movement of assets from one workstation to another and learn the product line repair requirements. Apply Technical Skills by following written Work Instructions, to Operate Equipment, Assemble, Pot, and Test all hose assemblies, towcables and ancillary equipment under the direct supervision of senior technicians or Supervisor. Assist other Team Members in the Material Handling of Large Assemblies, and other duties to meet common goals. Requires supervision from area Supervisor and/or Sr. Engineering Tech. Successful candidate will be required to work mandatory overtime as needed to meet customer requirements. Candidate must be able to work various shifts when required to meet customer requirements.
Candidate must have the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance. Must be able to obtain an interim security clearance before starting as a technician.
