Engineering Technician Tracking Code 2011029 Job Description BROAD FUNCTION: Assists in the design, development and support of custom hybrids and power modules.
1. Assist with new design/product development. 2. Write Prototype Test Procedures (PTP), Electrical Test Procedures (ETP), Active Trim Procedures (ATP) and Datasheets. 3. Test and evaluate custom hybrids and power modules. 4. Evaluate and troubleshoot faulty hybrids and proto-boards 5. Perform electrical characterization on prototype units. 6. Aid in writing and maintenance of documentation for assigned products. 7. Provide technical support to production personnel 8. Comply with and support all department and corporate policies and procedures, included but not limited to safety, security, ESD and OSHA guidelines. 9. Perform all other related duties as assigned.
10. Must be eligible to work on defense and satellite programs subject to ITAR Regulations. Therefore, candidates must be a U.S. Citizen or a U.S.Permanent Resident ('Green Card'). Required Skills
* Good understanding of test equipment and application. * Proven track record of working in an engineering or production testing environment with minimal supervision. * Organizational skills * Good verbal communication skills. * Written communication skills for general and technical documents. * Basic PC skills (knowledge of MS Office and Excel). * Strong time management skills Required Experience
Education: Associates Degree in Electrical Technology or demonstrated expertise with essential job functions. Experience: 1-3 years of related experience
