PURPOSE: * Programmer for NC turrets/Laser machines in Sheetmetal fabrication Environment
PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES/DUTIES: * Programming with Amada AP100 software, or Radan software * Programming for Laser using Trumph TOPS * Solid and Wireframe modeling experience using Pro-E, Solidworks, CADKEY as well as AutoCad. * Develop flat pattern layout and internal fabrication drawings from solid models for fabrication and assembly. * Develop detailed drawings in support of manufacturing/fabrication/QE functions. * Experienced with Flat pattern layout and drawing development . * Update and incorporate changes to 3D models as well as changes to fabrication drawings * Maintain configuration control on customer documentation. * Experience as DFM resource for customer designs and models in a sheetmetal environment * Experience with tooling procurement and specification for Amada NC Turrets * Maintain tooling catalogue and configurations for existing tooling.
Job Requirements
REQUIRED (MUST-HAVE) QUALIFICATIONS: * 2 years minimum experience in a Sheetmetal fabrication shop programming NC Turrets/lasers. * Training with AP100 Software
DESIRED (NICE-TO-HAVE) MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: * Some Experience as operator on Amada NC turrets * Understanding of sheetmetal operations process methods * Some knowledge and experience with documentation control
