Entry-Level Warfighter Support Analyst (MiDAESS/HSV)
Title: Entry-Level Warfighter Support Analyst (MiDAESS/HSV) Location: AL: ALABAMA-HUNTSVILLE CSC seeks anentry-level program analyst(multiple positions) to support Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Warfighter Operations Support activities. MDA's Warfighter Support Center (MDA/DWO) and program elements are responsible for developing, fielding, and supporting ballistic missile defense systems (BMDS) activities worldwide. This includes providing operational, programmatic, technical, integration, and fielding expertise to support MDA's coordination, development, fielding, and transition efforts with the Joint Staff, regional Combatant Commanders (COCOMs), Service staffs, and the BMDS operational community. With general supervision, the candidate will be expected to follow established procedures, and solve routine problems, and learn to operate in a team environment. Typical responsibilities includes assisting with program analyses and serving as part of a team performing classified operations and support functions for BMDS elements including tactical and test sites, facilities, and infrastructure across MDA. US citizenship is required as the position requires an active SECRET clearance. This position is contingent upon award of MiDAESS IDIQ award and follow-on task order awards. Some travel may be required. Essential Job Functions * Assists in planning and designing basic management processes; assists in formulating recommendations to improve and support business activities. * Assists in analyzing and documenting basic client business requirements and processes; communicates these requirements to appropriate personnel to ensure client needs match management strategies. * Assists experienced analysts in preparing and analyzing project plans to ensure a best practice approach to meeting client needs. * Assists with identifying process gaps; proposes alternatives and recommends implementation of new processes to improve management practices as they relate to organizational goals. * Participates in meetings with clients to gather and document requirements and explore potential solutions. * Executes systems test from existing test plans. Assists in analyzing testing results. * Participates in technical reviews and inspections to verify 'intent of change' is carried throughout project ic Qualifications * Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience * Bachelor's degree in business administration, computer science, information technology or related field preferred * Zero or more years of business solutions, management analysis experience * Experience working with company products, services, management practices, and business processes * Experience working with the business environment, business industry and competitor products and services * Experience working with office productivity tools; delivery assurance and/or industry standards on deliverables * Experience working with administrative and/or workflow systems Other Qualifications * US citizenship required * Active DoD SECRET security clearance required, with ability to obtain a TOP SECRET security clearance. * Experience working in or with MDA, and experience with BMDS components preferred * Specific experience with Ground-based Midcourse Defense, THAAD, AEGIS BMD, C2BMC, or missile defense sensors preferred * Basic communication skills to communicate with customers, support personnel and management * Basic creative thinking, problem solving, planning, time-management and organization skills to balance and prioritize work * Good human relations skills * Ability to create and maintain formal and informal networks * Ability to work in a team environment
