ERP Applications Analyst
GPS Manufacturer/Distributor
Work with Garmin employees and IT Staff to provide documentation, training, quality control, and business analysis. Complete projects related to providing efficient and capable computer resources for GARMIN employees. Administer, configure, and tailor enterprise and internet software applications.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
* Implement, configure, and support Oracle eBusiness applications
* Work with users to analyze/configure/tailor applications to fit their needs
* Write design documents and test procedures for applications
* Modify application configurations to maintain, improve, and extend existing software
* Work with developers to design applications that best meet user requirements
* Work with developers to develop and implement unit and system testing processes
* Assist with testing efforts and work with users to ensure appropriate testing is completed
* Provide coordination between end users, developers, and production control to complete required project
* Create and manage documentation for all stages of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
* Implement documentation standards and perform documentation tracking and review
* Perform internal audits and work with outside auditors to maintain regulatory compliance
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Provide support to helpdesk on escalated problems and issues
* Accept and complete projects and other miscellaneous duties as assigned

Requirements:
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILL REQUIRED:
* Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or Management Information Systems or equivalent experience
* 5+ years Information Technology experience
* 2+ years experience with ERP applications
* Experience with conducting requirements gathering/design sessions for new functionality and customizations
* Experience testing custom applications and Oracle patches
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:
* Experience with PL/SQL(Programming Language/Structured Query Language)
* Experience with Oracle application tools (e.g. Workflow, etc.)
* Experience with one or more of the following module suites: Financial's (GL, AP, AR), Discrete Manufacturing (INV, BOM, WIP, Cost, PO), Order Management, Advanced Planning (ASCP, DP, MRP), CRM (iSupport, iStore, Teleservice), Human Resources
* 2+ years application administration experience
* CPIM (Certified Production & Inventory Manager) or CIRM (Certified Integrated Resource Manager) or equivalent familiarity with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning)
