Leading Consulting Company is seeking highly experienced Exchange Administrators to join their team in the Puget Sound area.
As an Exchange Administrator, you will be responsible for the proactive monitoring, maintenance and changes of internal and customer facing servers. This includes setting up user accounts and mailboxes, backup and restore operations and security. Maintain the project servers. Maintain the file and print capacity. Ensures that backups are performed as appropriate. Act as a front-line interface to users. Accepts trouble reports and dispatch them to appropriate system administrators. Communicate accurate and useful status updates. Ability to work in a team environment. Complete assigned tasks. Responsible for operating and other system software. Responsible for upgrading the operating and system software and keeping patches current. Responsible for keeping the environment up and running. In many cases is responsible for identifying and reporting hardware problems. Identify and track issues, risks, and action items. Resolve and/or assist in resolving issues. Review, prioritize, and research service requests. Anticipate and resolve issues specific to the team. Determine time estimates and schedule for own work and resolve issues in a timely manner. Requirements: Skills/Experience Required:
Bachelors Degree in Information Technology or similar field required.
Certifications Preferred: MCSE
* Microsoft Exchange support and administration.
* Demonstrable knowledge in Active Directory administration
* Experience designing, implementing, repairing, and maintaining system infrastructure components
* Experience in cable management techniques
* Experience with firewall/switch installation, configuration, troubleshooting and on-going management
* Excellent communication and documentation skills utilizing MS Word, MS Project, MS Excel and Visio
* Ability to perform after hours, shift work, and be on call via pager during designated periods
