Job Description
As the largest domain registrar in the world and largest hosting provider in North America Go Daddy is seeking an Exchange Administrator. The person filling this position must be a seasoned Exchange professional who has administered large scale Exchange environments The Exchange Administrator will report to the Manager of Windows Engineering.
What does the job entail? * Responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of Exchange Server 2007 systems * Provide technical leadership and act as a technical resource and mentor to other System Administrators * Contribute to the planning and implementation of a large Microsoft Exchange 2010 deployment
Skills/Requirements
Do you have what it takes? · Extensive experience with the following technologies:
o Exchange Server o Windows 2003 and 2008 o IIS6 and IIS7 o Active Directory Administration o MOM or SCOM o Administrative scripting (PowerShell, etc)
· Experience in automating rapid provisioning of servers · Excellent knowledge of Windows Administration and operations · Excellent knowledge of email security and web application security · Experience managing large server environments (hundreds of servers) · Demonstrated ability to work in a high volume, fast paced environment with many deadlines and competing priorities · Must work well under sustained pressure and deadlines · The position requires exceptional analytical and problem solving skills, and the individual must possess a structured, methodical approach to systems administration. · Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience · Up to date Windows MCITP, MCSE/MCSA certification is a plus (Messaging specialization preferred) · 3+ years experience as a Windows System Administrator · 3+ years experience as an Exchange Administrator (2007 and 2010 preferred) · Previous 24x7 on call experience · Outstanding customer service and interaction skills, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills · Ability to plan, document, and effectively implement projects and systems
