POSITION SUMMARY
As a member of the Facilities Team, you will be responsible for handling requests of RIM employees and tenants from a facilities and maintenance nature. Working closely with both external and internal customers you will continue and improve service levels. You will also provide excellent service by understanding the customer's needs vs. wants, enthusiastically supporting change management, taking responsibility and actively seeking new challenges!
RESPONSIBILITIES * Maintaining the administrative functions for the department, supporting the reception area as required and assisting employees within the office * Supporting facilities team on day to day operations for all aspects of the location, invoicing, purchasing, landlord relations and processes related to the facilities functions * Assisting in maintaining office supplies and services in relation to company standards * Responding to customers and projects as they may occur * Ensuring common and general office areas are maintained on a weekly basis * Ensuring the safety and comfort of employees on a daily basis and to assist with emergency response as required * Being a team player with customer service / relations with the ability to work with management and cross functional teams and levels as required * Being a high performer who delivers more than what is expected with minimum supervision * Assisting management with suppliers, vendors, and service contracts as required
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS * Previous Facilities and Customer Service experience * Minimum 3 to 5 years experience in an office environment * Capable of assisting management with quotes for service contracts * Capable to handle situations and/or minor projects as required with minimum support * Superior organization and time management skills * Superior communication skills, both written and verbal * Strong analytical and computer skills (Word, Excel) ASSETS * Previous work experience with SAP, FMS and Remedy If you're driven to take wireless technologies to the next level, it's time you join the team at RIM.
