Position Description
- Complied and analyzes financial information for assigned organization - Creates and analyzes monthly, quarterly, and annual corporate spend data - Understands and interprets departmental budgets; track expense targets and variances - Tracks and reports on savings and expense initiatives - Performs financial forecasting and reconciliation of internal accounts - Develops and maintains processes/reports to track key metrics - Perform queries and analyses from various systems and databases - Summarizes and presents this financial data to senior managements as well as make recommendations based on data - Interact with a wide variety of roles/functions within BMC - Contribute to enhancement of policies, procedures and business practices that improve efficiency within the function - Credit analysis and review for existing customers and potential customers - Tax preparation and filling for assigned entities Position Requirements
- Bachelors degree required- Good understanding of financial principles and accounting/budgeting practice - Strong analytical skills.- Familiarity with Oracle (or other ERP system), Hyperion (Essbase), Business Objects and/or other related Financial Systems preferred- Intermediate to Advanced Excel and Access database skills; - Ability to articulate analyses, opinions and conclusions -Attention to detail and ability to maintain financial records in a fast-paced environment - Must demonstrate effective communications skills (both written and oral) as well as strong commitment to customer service excellence- Demonstrated ability to manage complex processes - Ability to communicate with non-Financial personnel at various levels throughout the organization and maintain effective working relationships with both internal and external customers- A background in information technology and/or software product operations is preferred- Strong organizational and collaborative skills BMC is an Equal Opportunity Affirmative Action Employer.
