Finance Support Spec C

Performs recurring and non-recurring bookkeeping activities for the collection, processing, recording and distribution of financial data. Responds to moderately complex customer inquiries related to accounting transactions requiring explanation or interpretation. Performs other duties to support accounting activities using knowledge of established guidelines, policies, and procedures. Works under limited supervision.

• Accounting Theory
Complete knowledge of accounting theory, concepts, and principles in multiple accounting processes (e.g., accounting knowledge related to internal business processes to ensure compliance).

• Acctg Systems & Process
Complete knowledge of how to implement/maintain/document effective internal controls and processes to ensure system integrity and compliance with accounting system requirements and company internal control guidelines and requirements. Complete ability to identify and resolve accounting system issues. Complete ability to support internal/external auditors and provide assistance regarding implementation and problem resolution. Complete ability to support development and deployment of accounting systems and tools.

Skill and ability to: collect, organize, synthesize, and analyze data; summarize findings; develop conclusions and recommendations from appropriate data sources at the department level.

• Finance Integration Knowledge
General knowledge of Finance disciplines and tasks performed by various Boeing Finance processes and the interaction between departments/disciplines and how their products and processes are used by and affect one another. Applies expertise to a wide range of business objectives.
