In addition, our recent acquisition of Blockbuster video stores only enhances our ability to provide subscribers with a richer entertainment experience at a great value.The Financial Analyst position will provide financial management and analytical support for Programming department. Key functions will include data report development to meet executive inquiries. Weekly and monthly data and analytical reporting, providing detailed monthly variance analysis, weekly revenue forecasts, subscriber and financial trending analysis, NPV analysis of proposed promotions, and financial modeling for proposed marketing tactics, as well as ad hoc projects to meet business needs. This position may also require programming contract analysis.
In addition, the position will be responsible for:
· Premium business reports and promotional tracking
· Creating financial models, and ROI analysis
· Present results and recommendations to the management team
· Annual Budget planning and forecasting
· Evaluate and analyze historical data and trending
· Manage special projects by working with other departments within the company to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities
Bachelor's degree (BA) in Business or Finance and two years of relevant experience. MBA is a plus.
