Title: Financial Analyst IV Staff - (36) Location: California-CA,Santa Clara
Responsibilities The Treasury Analyst will be responsible for a number of activities including supporting Credit and Collections, Banking and FX back office, and driving efficiencies across the Treasury group. While the primary focus will be on Credit and Collections, working closely with the regions and business units on credit reviews and collections oversight, a core assignment will be the continuing identification, packaging, and transition of tasks to the COE or BPO.
Credit & Collections * Preform credit reviews and manage the BPO (IBM) credit review process. * reporting responsibility includes Board, QFR and bad debt reports, audit and SOX requirements, as well as managing the weekly Business Unit AR reports produced by the BPO. * M&A related credit and collections integration as required. Treasury Operations: * Manage Treasury BPO (IBM) resources, and identify opportunities to move further tasks to BPO. * Act as back up for a number of Treasury functions including global e-banking systems administration, FX settlements, and wires. * M&A related treasury integration activities as required. * ad-hoc projects. Job Specific Knowledge * Credit and collections and or other Treasury related experience. * Accounting and financial knowledge are required. * Advance knowledge of systems capabilities and overall business processes. * Knowledge of Applied's culture, products, markets and processes beneficial.
Skills * Project leadership skills, negotiation skills, innovative skills, established communication skills, develop and execute effective presentations to senior managers, plate management, lead teams, basic management skills, established understanding of internal and external applications, global perspective.
Education INCUMBENTS ARE PREFERRED WHO POSSESS THE FOLLOWING MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: * Minimum BS in Accounting/Finance and 8 years of related experience, or equivalent. INCUMBENTS ARE PREFERRED WHO POSSESS THE FOLLOWING: * Preferred MBA or CPA.
