Requisition Number 10-0281 Post Date 7/8/2010 Title Financial Applications Analyst City Flint State MI Description PHNS is currently looking for a IT Analyst to work onsite in Flint, MI. As an IT Analyst you will analyze, evaluate and resolve problems with financial healthcare applications. You will work with programs, software vendor and customer to resolve problems with existing software. Provide assistance over telephone or through direct or written communication when customer has a financial application question. Provide detailed documentation inclusive of specifications, programming and process requirements. Install, evaluate and support new PHNS application implementations and upgrade rollouts. Responsible for adherence to testing and issue resolution guidelines. Analyze methods to optimize usage of hardware resources and effectiveness of procedures. Perform other duties as assigned. Always maintain a high level of competency with area of responsibility. Requirements * 3+ years of formal education/training or bachelor's degree in related program; or related experience * 5+ years in IT application analyst experience * PC skills, Windows, Outlook, Word, Excel, Project required * McKesson Financial Paragon Applications experience strongly preferred * Health care experience and Project Management experience a plus * Experience with Affinity applications a plus * Ability to think critically, asses input on system changes and develop/suggest possible solutions to identified and potential problems. * Ability to effectively communicate and present self to people in courteous and tactful manner.
