In this role, you will: * be responsible for overseeing and assisting Essbase Admin with data updates, system modifications have been tested * review new report designs for accuracy before releasing to report requester * ensure change control for system changes are documented and signed off on * be the overall support to FP&A team
Required Skills To qualify for this position, you must have: * Hyperion - Expert User, System Administrator required * Hyperion Essbase Planning 9.3.1 or hirer- System administration * Hyperion Workspace - Reporting * Hyperion - Smartview * Both Hardware and Software monitoring and maintenance required * Modifying/Updating Calc Scripts, Batches and business rules * Hyperion Financial Mgmt (HFM)/FDM (Upstream) System Administrator desired * Knowledge Microsoft SQL Server (helpful) - Reporting Services/Analytics Services (SSRS/SSAS) * Knowledge VB Scripting (helpful) * Microsoft -Sharepoint Knowledge helpful * Microsoft Access - Expert user * Microsoft Excel - Expert user * PeopleSoft -(helpful) * Financial Planning and Analysis * Analysis/Reporting for the FP&A team (setting up the templates, managing the reports/train users) * Managing the reporting structures for FP&A to accurately report the various business segments - Understanding Reporting accounts - business rules around these structures. * Financial Reporting - Understanding of basic financial statements and summary detail * * P&L Reports * Balance Sheet Reports * Cash Flow * Project Management * Managing projects for new system enhancements * Managing projects for process improvement * Managing timelines for system requirements as a part of larger corporate project initiatives under the PMO * Systems Management * Routine Maintenance schedules * Data Management - Extract Transfer Load processes * Best Practices * Support - Troubleshooting Issues, managing issue priorities
