Flight Readiness Tech B and\or Flight Line Quality Inspector
This job requisition is utilized to hire Flight Readiness Technicians (FRT/AMT) and Flight Line Quality inspectors for the Boeing South Carolina Delivery Center. Please indicate, on resume, which job you are applying for (can be either/or) Experience must support.
Performs final component installation and systems operational functional testing. Performs rework, modification, maintenance, preflight and post-flight checks for delivery. FAA Airframe & Powerplant license required. Employees in this classification may exercise duties and privileges granted under that certificate.

Technical• Aerospace Vehicle Operations

Do you possess a valid Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) airframe and powerplant (A&P) certificate?
Typical Education/Experience
High school diploma or GED and typically 1 or more years' related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

A VALID FAA AIRFRAME AND POWERPLANT CERTIFICATE IS REQUIRED. Please note your certificate number on your resume. Experience may include the following non-Boeing products, but is not limited to: A300, A310, A320, A330, A340, A380, L1011, CRJ100, CRJ200, CRJ300, CRJ400, CRJ400, CRJ500, CRJ600 and CRJ700. Previous avionics or electrical experience is required. Experience may include the following Boeing products, but is not limited to: 707, 727, 737, 757, 747, 767, 777, 787, C-17, F-14, F-15, F-16, F-18, F-22, MD11, MD80, MD90, DC10 and DC11. Prefer a minimum of five years of aircraft maintenance experience on complex jet powered aircraft with military, airline or certificated repair station background. This position is utilized for both operations and quality inspection functions; Inspection functions will require experience and expertise performing dimensional inspections of detail parts, final inspections, evaluating design requirements for details, assemblies, installations and functional tests, functioning within a nonconforming material/product disposition/handling process and performing process audits. Must be able to work any shift, overtime and holidays as required.
