Brief Description
Support the Forecast Analytics Manager and Regional Marketing and Sales Leadership Teams in managing the department's revenue, market share and Competitive Intelligence gathering process. Develop regional and segment quarterly, annual, and long-range planning forecasts in support of the Business unit goals. Analyze and report out on net revenue trends; support the marketing segment leaders by providing them with analysis to make timely decisions on forecast inputs/changes.
Detailed Description
Major responsibilities: Position reports to Market Forecast Analytics Manager · Acquire comprehensive knowledge of the forecasting process, system, tools, and data sources. · Develop and quantify impact of various market segment scenarios; implement assumption set of approved scenario to appropriate forecast level (product family, part number). · Review forecast process documentation annually; implement improvements as necessary. · Develop Quarterly, Annual, Long Range and ad hoc segment forecast presentation material. · Maintain and submit market share and Top Customer share data · Support senior management analysis of Top Ten Customer, Pricing comparisons, Third Party forecast deltas and more. · Work with Information Technology team to successfully implement and use various business tools (CRM, Competitive Intelligence database.).
· Represent marketing at Sales & Operations Planning meetings; disseminate required actions/information to appropriate marketing personnel.
Job Requirements
· BS Engineering · 2-3 years technical marketing and/or marketing analytics experience · Automotive, Industrial Equipment, HVAC, HVOR experience preferred
