We are looking for an Analyst to be part of the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team of Tyco Electronics’ Corporate Finance. FP&A provides financial information and support to the corporate management team, investor relations, global business units, SEC reporting and key business and functional leaders. In addition, the team is responsible for leading key financial planning and forecasting processes.
The analyst will be expected to produce timely and accurate financial information using data from several sources including Hyperion, TE’s data warehouse and Excel files. Responsibilities will include management of selected data collection processes, and compiling, analyzing, interpreting and commenting upon financial reports provided to, among others, the Senior Director of FP&A, the Vice President of FP&A, and TE’s CFO and CEO.
This position will be located in Middletown, PA. Requirement:
Along with our core values of integrity, accountability, teamwork and innovation we are seeking candidates with the following qualities: * Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance with minimum 1-2 years relevant work experience; accounting or corporate finance area of responsibility preferred; MBA a plus * Proficiency in MS Office products, enterprise ledger systems and data warehouse tools * Familiarity with SAP and SharePoint * Ability to successfully communicate with all levels in the organization * Drive for data integrity, process definition and continuous process improvement * Demonstrated process management capabilities with an emphasis on strategic thinking, teamwork, and results-driven implementation * Attention to detail and deadlines * International background, experience or exposure preferred
