Responsibilities: Consultants in our Technical Communications Practice support customer requirements for documentation of software applications, and impacted business processes, policies, and procedures. Primary Roles/Responsibilities:· Design documentation layout and organization.· Develop, enhance, and maintain various documentation including operations, procedure, user or training manuals and supporting materials, web or online help. · Participate in project planning and scheduling by creating the project management documents that identify, implement, and track technical writing tasks.· Conduct technical interviews with developers and subject matter experts to technical information.· Coordinate documentation publication and reproduction.· Coordinate documentation reviews with developers and users.· Manage documentation projects in order to meet customer deadlines.
Qualifications: Required Skills: * HTML Programming * Identifies and communicates problems and recommends constructive solutions and actions * Additional leadership responsibilities may be required depending upon the experience of the individual. * Additional responsibilities may include developing or assisting in developing work plans and estimates for information systems projects. * Ensuring adherence to standards relative to the technical aspects of assigned projects. * Areas of technical guidance may include, but are not limited to current operating standards, development methodologies, documentation standards, programming languages, estimating work effort, and adherence to work plans. * Researches, analyzes, and documents selected elements of assigned information systems projects at a level that is appropriate based on skills of individual * Designs, tests, and codes computer programs and prepares them for complete operational status * Aids in the preparation of user procedures and conducts training and implementation sessions. * Prepares test data, schedules, and conversion procedures, and tests the operation of computer systems. * Evaluates and estimates requested program modifications. * Reports status and progress of assigned projects to management.
