FX Technical Director
The role requires someone able to work autonomously in a fast paced environment to deliver an extremely high level of work.
This individual will be comfortable working with clients and have a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills and technical knowledge and have relevant experience in a commercial, film or TV environment
The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years experience in post-production doing FX (particles, smoke, fluids, and hair), with a strong knowledge of Maya and Houdini, Python, MEL, Linux.
Additionally, successful candidates will have a good understanding of Nuke and Flame. XSI knowledge is definitely a plus.
Strong interpersonal skills are mandatory, and it's essential that you are able to work both on front-end and back-end development.
Must have the ability to work in a cooperative team environment, as well as work independently.
Must demonstrate a commitment to high quality work, and maintain strong analytical skills.
A degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred, but not required.
