Title: Global Logistics Finance Analyst - (36) Location: Texas-TX,Austin
Responsibilities
The Global Logistics Finance Analyst reports to the Global Logistics Finance Manager. The Global Logistics Finance Analyst is responsible for delivering finance analysis in support of the Supply Chain Logistics Head. He/she will be working with the Supply Chain Logistics leadership team to ensure that the organization delivers to its business commitments. * Analyzes, interprets, and prepares financial forecasts in support of the Business Segments. * Assist the Global Logistics Finance Manager with the gathering and analysis of overall logistics spend with emphasis on identifying consolidation and cost savings opportunities. * Assist the Global Logistics Finance Manager in preparing business case and other financial analysis as it relates to third party negotiations. * Supports both internal and external audits to include audits by Customs, Homeland Security, KPMG, Sox Testing, etc. * Supports the performance management process, providing the appropriate dashboard of financial and non-financial business metrics and analysis. * Provides balance sheet analysis for general ledger accounts owned by the these organizations. * Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. * Expert knowledge of financial planning and analysis * Proven competencies, particularly in the area of communications, negotiations, presentations, financial analysis and related decision-making, problem solving, financial modeling and forecasting * Excellent interpersonal skills, team building skills, and customer relationship skills * Expert knowledge of Microsoft Applications and exposure to major ERP applications
Skills * Project leadership skills, advanced negotiation skills, innovative skills, established communication skills, develop and execute effective presentations to senior managers, plate management and CPI, lead teams, behavioral interviewing skills, basic management skills, established understanding of internal and external applications, global perspective.
Education
