POSITION SUMMARY
Reporting to the Global Rewards Operations Lead, the Global Rewards Operations Support Analyst provides analytical and process support in the development, enhancement, and maintenance of systems, processes and tools to maximize the efficiency of the global team. This position is also responsible for providing technical support for global rewards planning processes, including payroll load files, data and system access audits, conducting testing and providing end-user training.
ACCOUNTABILITIES * Support the Global Rewards Team's operational efficiency by leveraging processes and technology to maximize system utilization and initiate business process improvements * Liaise with the Organizational Development Project & Systems teams and the SAP HR Technical team in order to assist in defining system requirements, project planning, documentation, design/build and testing of SAP and technology-related implementations and enhancements * Document and support the implementation of controls and audit processes to meet ISO requirements and support global programs and projects * Implement procedures and documentation standards to ensure the efficient maintenance of the Global Rewards Livelink/Intranet Site to facilitate accuracy of information for RIM employees, partners and stakeholders * Within an established compensation planning design analysis framework, assist with preparation, organization and analysis of program-related information, to evaluate technology effectiveness and prepare related design proposals * With guidance from the Global Rewards Operations Lead and input from key business and regional stakeholders, assists with the development of compensation planning program training materials and related processes as required * Assist the Global Rewards Operations Lead in the identification, development, and implementation of Global Rewards processes improvement and programs
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS * 1-3 years related experience working with OD technology, including system testing, technology implementation/ modification and end-user support * College/University degree in related field (i.e. Computer Science, MIS, Business Administration, Human Resources) or equivalent working experience * Achievement of or working towards Compensation Certification (CCP) or Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) an advantage * Previous experience as a business applications/technology or HRIS administrator or analyst (SAP preferred) * Strong analytical and creative problem-resolution skills and attention to detail is essential * Experience gathering and documenting business, functional or testing Requirements * Previous experience with Human Resources and/or compensation processes and systems a definite asset * Advanced MS Excel skills and spreadsheet analysis * Solid written business communication skills, with proven experience in liaising with others including technical teams * Dedicated team player, who demonstrates initiative and independence * Ability to effectively communicate with people of varying cultures If you're driven to take wireless technologies to the next level, it's time you join the team at RIM.
