Help Desk Analyst

Our client in Bend, OR is in need of a contract Helpdesk Analyst/Desktop Support Analyst. Position is contract for +2 months. Position involves the setup, imaging, application and installation along with helpdesk support role in an enterprise environment. Expert knowledge of configuration, deployment, installation, testing, maintaining, and troubleshooting desktop workstations, printers (including network printing), fax machines, and/or peripherals including internal/external Windows NT/2000/XP applications and basic network connectivity. Expert skills in using Microsoft Windows, navigating in a Windows environment, using web browser software, and sending/receiving e-mail via Microsoft Outlook. Expert skills with the configuration of approved remote-connection methods. Expert skills with install, remove, update, operate, and troubleshoot core device management applications used for desktop support. Serves as liaison between client departments and software and hardware vendors to resolve problems, answer questions, and complete Customer Service Requests (CSRs). Knowledgeable with using a call tracking system. Knowledgeable with device inventory and asset tracking processes *Some local travel is required. Candidates must have a current/valid drivers license.
