Project Description: The SDDC is a major Army command who has sole responsibility for the movement and transportation management of all commodities, equipment, personnel, and household goods of the military service members and their dependents using contracted services of commercial motor, air, rail, pipeline, and ship providers. This responsibility is executed through automated systems developed by SDDC using centralized and de-centralized applications. Position Description: The SDDC Systems Response Center (SRC) is an inbound and outbound help desk servicing multiple SDDC transportation applications. The SRC does not include the SDDC internal help desk. The SRC focuses on employing Customer Relationship Management (CRM) techniques by gathering accurate customer profile information including names, phone numbers, email, as well as customer organization history, activities, requirements, past problems, and associated documentation. The SRC provides 24/7 customer assistance to SDDC worldwide customers. The primary applications for this HDS are TOPS/WPS and DPS. The Transportation Operational Personnel Property Standard System (TOPS) provides users with Information Management Systems/Automation support for passenger movement; storage of personal property; historical transportation data for passenger, personal property and travel data; and transportation payment. The Defense Personnel Property System (DPS) is the online system developed to support the goals of the Department of Defense (DoD) initiative for the movement of Service Members household goods. Basic duties/responsibilities: ? receive and process phone calls/emails from world-wide user base requesting functional assistance for a web-based system ? enter information and data concerning each request into a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool. Using same CRM to identify solution and provide same to caller with problem ? conduct additional research for more complex problems ? conduct follow-up on previously opened service requests ? attend team meetings as required ? produce and develop various ad-hoc and canned reports as required ? support 24X7 program by participating in rotating on-call after-hours schedule ? provide functional Tier 1 diagnostic services to TOPS and/or DPS field users ? perform other duties as assigned Required Skills: ?
