Help Desk Specialist / Technician
A client in Greenville, SC is looking to hire an entry level helpdesk technician to join their team on a contract s person will be responsible for providing first level support for end users as it relates to network services and IT functionality. This person will be asked to perform root cause troubleshooting to identify problems and issues to resolve or escalate to appropriate engineers should a fix not be identified immediately. The schedule will be first shift and be largely Monday through licants must have either an industry certification or previous IT experience. Ideally candidates will have some previous support experience and have an associates degree or IT Certification. A preference will be given to those who have actual remote support experience. Candidates should have a good working knowledge of networking and understand concepts such as routing and TCP/IP. This position is open immediately.
