Position Summary: The Help Desk Specialist provides phone and in-person support to users in the areas of e-mail, directories, standard Windows desktop applications, and applications developed under this contract or predecessors.
Position Description: The Help Desk Specialist Provides phone and in-person support to users in the areas of e-mail, directories, standard Windows desktop applications, and applications developed under this contract or predecessors. Serves as the initial point of contact for troubleshooting hardware/software PC and printer problems.
Responsibilities: • Deliver high quality work products on or ahead of schedule • Follow all documented LM, IS&GS-CIVIL and HHS program processes • Meet or beat all individual and team objectives/milestones • Support assigned Integrated Product Team (IPT) -- participate in team activities and meetings, support team planning, and assist in establishing team priorities • Use the most efficient methods to accomplish tasks • Work overtime and/or off hours if necessary to meet deadlines • Maintain a team oriented and positive attitude • Communicate effectively and constructively with all members of the team • Suggest process/product improvements to enhance the quality and/or timeliness of program efforts.
Minimum Qualifications: * Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Security clearance * High School Diploma, Associate Degree or equivalent in a related field combination of experience and formal technical training may be substituted for formal education. * Minimum 1 - 2 years of progressive experience.
