Description Phacil has an immediate need for an on call Help Desk Technician/ FOIA Coordinator/Document Scanner to support an important customer in King of Prussia, PA. Clearance Requirements Must be a US Citizen; position requires clearance or the ability to obtain. Scope Help Desk duties: Field requests from customers seeking guidance on technical computer problems. Query callers, and using the help desk knowledge database of previous calls and resolutions, solves IT first level service requests (Tier 1 support). Records instances and steps that resolved the Tier 1 service egorizes the nature of calls and enters them into the help desk support database to initiate Tier 2 support. FOIA Coordinator duties: Coordinates the preparation of responses to Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests, including, but not limited to, focusing the request through interactions with the customer; obtaining, from the staff estimates of the search effort, required and volume of material that is responsive to the request; assisting the staff in locating and identifying records responsive to the request; reviewing records proposed to be released for potential withhold-able material; and assuring the proper marking of records identified to be denied in whole or in part. Assigns appropriate exemption identifier to information proposed to be pares response package with all necessary forms and attachments for management review. The response package includes all materials responsive to the FOIA request. Arranges and facilitates meetings with staff and management to resolve differences of opinion on appropriate handing of information or documents in response to FOIA requests. Document Scanner duties: Experience with scanning documents in a timely manner, preferably into an Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Experience preparing paper documents for scanning and reassembling the documents for final Experience with scanning paper documents generating a Portable Document Format (PDF) file from the paper documents received for processing Qualifications 0 – 2 years of Help Desk experience Proficient in Microsoft Office and Remedy, Tier 1 experience and ability to initiate Tier 2 Excellent verbal and written communication skills Additional Information On call Position. Hours vary upon need for substitution for Help Desk and/or Administrative Support
