For more information, or follow Smarsh />Position Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated individual with strong communication and client service skills to provide internal corporate destop support. Inj addition, this position will be a supplemental resource to support both technical support and technical operations departments. You would work in our technical operations center and be exposed to a dynamic/exciting technology environment. The position will be a mix of phone based support and in person support. Smarsh offers excellent opportunities for employee advancement and has a strong history of promoting from within. Technical Requirements: * Provide first line response for users requiring assistance with information technology issues * Resond to requests for technical assistance by phone, email and/or using helpdesk management system * Track issues to resolution and updating the internal knowledge base * Familar with and able to troubleshoot and manage business applications (MS Office, IM Clients) * Create and manage Active Directory computer and user accounts for corporate systems; to include initial account setup and termination * Maintain desktops and laptops; including both hardware and software * Maintain peripheral devices such as multifunction printers, VOIP equipment, and mobile devices * Create and manage images to standardize and expedite computer deployment * Escalate more complex issues to the appropriate technical resource * Maintain daily incident/issue logs * Manage vendor relationships with regards to purchasing equipment for Technial Operations * Other duties as assigned Additional Requirements: * Excellent Communication Skills * Patience, desire to help others * Ability to multi-task in sometimes stressful environment * Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies * Professional demeanor and strong work ethics * Background check required Smarshis an Equal Opportunity Employer.
