Job Description

This position works independently and is able to provide support and strategic direction to management and employees in the areas of compensation, benefits, recruitment, data management, employee relations and organizational development and effectiveness within Intermountain Homecare.

This position will support Intermountain Homecare employees and management of our Burley, Ogden, Logan, Salt Lake and Orem locations. In addition to the above duties, the incumbent will oversee Compensation, Employee Engagement, Affirmative Action and Joint Commission as it pertains to Intermountain Homecare.

May be accountable to support employees on the assigned campuses; however those employees may be included on another facilities payroll.

This position will work Monday - Friday, days. One day a week in the Ogden Homecare office and the others in the Salt Lake Homecare office.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree obtained through an accredited institution. Education is verified.
• Five years of Human Resources experience. Prior HR Experience must include functional experience in one of the following HR disciplines: employee relations; compensation / benefit administration; training / development; or employment / recruiting.
• Significant experience in advising/educating managers on matters of employee relations and Human Resources related laws and regulations.
• Demonstrated analytical skills; ability to influence group processes and facilitation skills.
• Ability to manage and perform with a high degree of autonomy, organization, and adaptability.
• Solid understanding of all areas within HR functions including: employee relations, organizational development/training, benefits, compensation, legal and regulatory compliance, and diversity.
• Excellent computer skills including email, word processing, spreadsheets and presentations. Knowledge of HR systems such as HRM systems, database applications, talent management systems, and file scanning applications.
• Excellent interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills.

  Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in HR or related field such as business administration. Degree must be obtained through an accredited institution. Education is verified.  
  • Master’s Degree in HR or related field such as business administration. Degree must be obtained through an accredited institution. Education is verified.  
  • Human Resources experience in a healthcare setting. 
  • PHR or SPHR certification.
